For example, The Madrona Group was born out of the Lynnwood John L. Scott office.  For the first few years of business we rarely bought or sold a house in Lynnwood.

The truth is that we are licensed with the NWMLS and have the ability to work anywhere the NWMLS covers, which is pretty much the entire state of Washington.

The Madrona Group has bought and sold houses as far as Camano Island, Concrete, Plain, Heron Island and Buckley. Although, we do prefer to do business in Shoreline, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Everett, Kirkland, Bothell, Mukilteo, and Marysville.

Joe and I recently purchased a John L. Scott franchise.  It is called John L. Scott Ballard | Madrona Group.  We only have the word Ballard in there because that is where our Headquarters is.  1448 NW Market St Suite 500 Seattle, WA 98107.

In order to own a real estate agency you must have an address where your agents licenses are “hung”.  For that purpose we are located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA.

We do most of our work from home, Meadowdale for Jason and Mountlake Terrace for Joe, and out in the field.
